Component Marking

Traceability of components is key to many industries. Many parts need marking with serial numbers, product codes or user instructions and warnings. Laser marking offers a permanent, aesthetic and non-damaging solution. Depths of up to 0.5mm are easily acheived.

Data Storage

We are now seeing more demand for the use of Data Matrix and QR Codes as part marking, these are laser marked leaving a high contrast mark that is easily scanned. They can hold a large amount of data, often used in advertising with the links to websites accessible by Smartphone’s.

Laser Engraving

Our Fibre Laser enables us to offer a fantastic service for either deep engraving or Part marking where the Laser changes the colour of the material permanently to give a high contrast effect. This service is used for moulds, jewellery and just about anything that requires a high quality permanent mark or engraving. We work with the latest software which allows us to offer our customers help with creating, editing and finalising artwork and logos, as well as analysing models and drawings.

Repair Welding

We offer a repair welding service for damaged moulds and parts, this is done with very little heat going into the part therefore giving no heat distortion. We use 0.4mm to 1.0 mm wire and can weld any steels and aluminium. This is ideal for damaged edges or small dents in moulds. We can offer a full refurb service bringing the sharp edges back and the extra life from old mould. We offer site service for Repair Welding & polishing which can be useful for large tools saving the need for transportation.

Polishing Services

We do polishing of injection moulds, composite moulds, blow moulds, rubber moulds, and many different machined components working to very fine tolerances, within many years experience and good understanding of tooling works. We also undertake refurbishing for moulds, which repair welding service can old moulds looking good and producing accurate parts again. At PMP have team take on polishing and offer rapid turn around.
